Gold Mine has been chosen to receive an award from the State of
California for providing leadership in its recycling efforts.
To receive the Waste Reduction Award from the Integrated Waste
Management Board, Gold Mine has practiced outstanding re-use and
recycling methods. I.W.M.B. Chairman Jesse Huff said the honored
companies had "proven that waste reduction makes good business
sense, cause it increases efficiency of resources" while
reducing costs.
