Ranchers, farmers, foresters, environmentalists, conservationists, educators, business leaders,politicians, and interested persons. Seeks to improve the human environment and quality of life through holistic management. Objectives are to: produce stable environments with sound watersheds; restore profitability to agriculture; increase wildlife species and stability of populations; improve water resources of cities, industry, and agriculture; reestablish seriously damaged riparian (stream side) areas; prevent waste of financial resources by governments, international agencies, and private individuals due to poor resource management. Fosters citizen participation in sound resource management; works extensively on combating the desertification process. Conducts seminars and courses for ranchers, farmers, and professional resource managers on holistic resource management. Collects and disseminates information; maintains speakers' bureau. Provides scientific and educational presentations and interviews. Operates consultation, management, and advisory services.
